What Drives You? The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is seeking dedicated Highway Maintenance Workers to work at the Tappahannock and St. Stephens Area Headquarters. These hands-on roles will help ensure the safety of the traveling public by performing roadway maintenance, operating equipment, performing manual labor, supporting snow and ice operations, maintaining signs, drainage systems, and roadside areas, and responding to emergency situations as needed. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, commitment to teamwork and safety, and a desire to make a positive impact in their community.
