Engineer - Of Watch

The Engineer-Of-The-Watch (EOW) is responsible for maintenance of the riverboat in compliance with all applicable regulatory agency regulations year-round, completing quarterly inspections and having the riverboat fully ready for ABS Consulting. Inc.’s annual and semi-annual inspections. During the shift the EOW is responsible for the whole riverboat with special attention paid to the machinery spaces and tasks assigned by the Engineer-In-Charge. As a member of the Incident Response Team, the EOW has key duties as specified in the Riverboat Emergency Preparedness Manual and the Station Bills.
