Loss Prevention (Security) Officer - The Warehouse, Pukekohe (Casual)

This is a casual position with no set weekly hours of work.

The purpose of the role. We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team on a casual basis. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers. This is a flexible, Casual role perfect for someone looking for work around their schedule.

Key Responsibilities: - Monitor security cameras and alert management to any suspicious activity - Conduct regular patrols throughout the warehouse and store areas - Respond promptly to security concerns and incidents - Assist with access control and customer safety protocols - Report and document any security issues or concerns - Support the team with general loss prevention initiatives as needed

He kōrero mōu ake - About you

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
