Machine Cleaning Technician

Pay: $19.70 per hour Location: London, Ohio Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring a dependable, hands-on Machine Cleaning Technician to clean and maintain production machinery in a manufacturing environment. This position involves cleaning approximately one machine per shift using rubbing alcohol and basic cleaning tools. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, following established procedures, and completing hands-on tasks without constant supervision. Basic tool knowledge is helpful, and candidates should be comfortable with physical work.

Responsibilities

- Clean approximately one production machine per shift using rubbing alcohol and approved cleaning materials. - Use basic hand tools and cleaning supplies as needed. - Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines. - Inspect equipment during the cleaning process and report any visible issues. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Complete assigned tasks independently and efficiently.

Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of tools and general hands-on work. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. - Ability to perform physical work throughout an 8-hour shift. - Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. - Willingness to learn equipment cleaning procedures. - Previous manufacturing, machine cleaning, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required.
