Position Overview

SubCom is seeking a summer intern to support its Oracle Manufacturing and Supply Chain applications and business intelligence initiatives. You'll work with the Enterprise Applications team and business partners to understand how Oracle E-Business Suite supports purchasing, inventory, and manufacturing - and how data from those processes can help teams make better decisions.

This role offers hands-on experience across application support, process improvement, reporting, and analytics. You'll take ownership of a defined summer project and present your findings and recommendations at the end of the internship.

Responsibilities

- Help document manufacturing and supply chain processes, system configurations, and support procedures.

- Assist with investigating application issues by gathering examples, reviewing data, and helping identifying possible causes.

- Support testing for system changes by preparing test cases, recording results, and tracking defects.

- Work with business partners to understand reporting needs and define useful metrics.

- Help develop, improve, or validate reports and dashboards using tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud and Power BI.

- Analyze data for trends, exceptions, and opportunities to improve data quality or business processes.

- Complete a summer project with a practical deliverable, such as a dashboard, reporting enhancement, data quality analysis, or process improvement recommendation.

- You'll learn how enterprise applications and analytics support real manufacturing and supply chain decisions. You'll also gain experience working with IT and business teams and leave with a completed project you can discuss in future interviews.
