Deli Supervisor (Full-Time) SPAR Oranmore

SPAR Oranmore is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Deli Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the deli department, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high food safety standards, and supervising team members to deliver a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the daily operation of the deli department - Lead and support deli team members - Deliver excellent customer service at all times - Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures - Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation standards - Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste management - Support training and development of team members - Ensure the deli department is clean, organised, and fully stocked - Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally - Work collaboratively with store management and other departments

- Previous experience in a deli, food service, or retail environment is desirable. Supervisory experience would be an advantage - Strong leadership and communication skills - Excellent customer service skills - Good organisational and time management abilities - Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles is desirable - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and public holidays where required - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Reliable, positive, and customer-focused attitude
