Lab Support Specialist

Job Summary The Lab Support Specialist provides support to the LIS System Administrator in the Laboratory assisting in investigation of Laboratory Information Systems issues. This includes the investigation and research of new tests or changes to current tests at the direction of the LIS Administrator. The Lab Support Specialists responds to inquiries from nursing units, physician offices, and reference laboratories regarding test orders, specimen requirements and reporting. Job Responsibilities
