LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a key member of the Tuscaloosa Girls Juvenile Treatment Centers medical team, and provides for the general health care of students within the scope of your license. This may include administering immunizations, assisting with TB screen, flu vaccines, and the overall health maintenance of students and staff. As an LPN, you will also assist with training employees regarding relevant health care topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders. This position assists in ordering supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other medical equipment for the Medical team.
