Mechanical TYPE Full-Time ABOUT THE ROLE Were looking for a Production Engineer to own production execution of our machines - from receipt of released drawings through to installation and commissioning at the customer site - a hands-on role for a mechanical engineer who enjoys shop-floor problem-solving. WHAT YOULL DO Take over released drawings and BOM from Design and plan the production sequence for each order Coordinate and oversee sheet metal fabrication, machining, and assembly activities on the shop floor Make practical fabrication and assembly decisions during production, raising a design deviation request where a manufacturing necessity requires one Track production progress against the order timeline and flag delays early Coordinate with QC for in-process and final inspection sign-off before dispatch Travel to customer sites to support mechanical installation and commissioning Coordinate with the Controls and Automation Engineer during commissioning for combined mechanical and electrical sign-off Maintain production and as-built documentation for every order WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering 0-2 years of experience; exposure to sheet metal fabrication and machine manufacturing preferred Able to read and work from engineering drawings and BOMs Comfortable being hands-on on the shop floor, not a desk-only role Willing to travel for installation & commissioning support LOCATION & WORKING HOURS Work Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
