About the role
Orbital Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to serve as an Owner's Engineer representative on behalf of a Gas Utility Client in the Metro Detroit, MI area. This is a dedicated, client-facing hybrid position supporting the client across multiple compressor station locations.
The work schedule consists of approximately 3 days per week on-site at several compressor station locations in the Metro Detroit area, with the remainder working remotely. Increased on-site presence may be required during active construction phases.
This is an immediate-fill opportunity with an initial engagement of 6 months to 1 year, with strong likelihood of extension for the right candidate.
