Barrel Cell - Welding Operations II

Milacron is looking for a Welder to join our team in Mt. Orab, Ohio. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing carbide clad, steel, cast iron, aluminum, and stainless-steel materials and parts for welding, while performing high-quality gas and arc welding on components requiring critical strength and precision.

Work You’ll Do:

• Prepare carbide clad, steel, cast iron, aluminum, and stainless-steel materials and components for welding operations. • Perform gas and arc welding on materials of varying thicknesses. • Complete welding assignments where finished welds may be subjected to critical stress conditions. • Execute welds in all positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead. • Weld fabricated parts according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. • Inspect materials and completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with requirements. • Maintain adherence to established welding procedures and safety standards. • Use welding equipment and tools effectively to achieve high-quality results. • Support production goals by completing assigned work accurately and efficiently. • Collaborate with Group Leads and team members to ensure product quality and on-time delivery. Qualifications:

• Experience performing gas and arc welding on a variety of materials.
• Ability to weld steel, cast iron, aluminum, stainless steel, and carbide clad materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Experience welding in all positions, including overhead and vertical.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous manufacturing or industrial welding experience preferred.
