Midland Care Connection

Midland Care Connection is a not for profit, community based organization dedicated to helping older adults and seriously ill individuals stay independent and supported in their homes. Established in 1978, we offer a full continuum of care, including hospice, palliative care, home health, grief and loss counseling, and our signature PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program. Our mission centers on "meeting individual needs through innovative care solutions," and we serve people across multiple counties in northeast Kansas.

Hospice House

A peaceful, 12 bed, inpatient facility dedicated to providing compassionate, end of life care when a home setting is no longer feasible. Here, patients receive around the clock, skilled hospice care from a multidisciplinary team—nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other specialists—focused on managing pain and symptoms with dignity and respect. The environment is designed to feel like home, offering comfort not just to the patients but also to their loved ones, providing space for visitation, emotional support, and moments of peace in the final chapter of life.

CNA Hospice House

As a CNA at Midland Care’s Hospice House, you’ll provide compassionate, hands-on care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. You’ll assist patients with personal care, bathing, grooming, toileting, repositioning, mobility, meals, and other daily needs while helping maintain a safe and comfortable environment. You’ll also monitor and report changes in patients’ condition, work closely with the hospice care team, and provide meaningful companionship and emotional support to patients and their families. Most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting difference by helping patients feel comfortable, respected, and cared for during an important time in their lives.

Pay Rate

CNA - $17.15+/hour | HHA - $19.50+/hour

Bonuses

CNA - $1,000 | HHA - $1,500

To be paid in two increments at 6 months and 1 year of employment

+ CNA's receive paid training to obtain their HHA license after 60 days

Shift Differentials

$1.00 Weekdays | 5:00pm – 8:00pm

$1.50 Weekends | 8:00am – 5:00pm

$2.00 Weekends | 5:00pm – 8:00am
