Accountant I

Under the direction of the Asst Controller Accounting & Finance, the incumbent's responsibilities include activities/processes related to completing entry level accounting tasks including but not limited to: weekly bank deposits, treasury wires, balance sheet reconciliations, abandoned property activity, fixed asset transactions, monthly closing process and maintaining financial records of MPTN and its related enterprises. Associate’s degree is required, with a desire for focus in Accounting or Finance. A minimum of two (2) years work experience in a financial environment is a plus. Experience in large ERP systems, including Oracle, is a plus.
