Air Export Coordinator

- Coordinate and manage all aspects of air export shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. - Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to obtain shipment details and provide status updates. - Book cargo space with airlines, negotiate rates, and arrange for transportation to the airport. - Prepare and review export documentation, including airway bills, commercial invoices, and packing lists. - Ensure accuracy and completeness of all shipment-related documentation to minimize delays and errors. - Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and provide timely updates to customers. - Collaborate with customs brokers to facilitate customs clearance processes. - Handle any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the export process, including cargo discrepancies, delays, or regulatory challenges. - Stay up-to-date with changes in export regulations and compliance requirements. - Assist in the development of efficient export processes and procedures to improve departmental operations. - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in air export coordination within the freight forwarding industry. - Knowledge of air export regulations, documentation, and procedures. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Excellent organizational and time management abilities. - Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. - Proficiency and comfortable with technology; experience with Google Suite and CargoWise is preferred. - Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
