Razzoos Cleaner Maintenance (44975)

Summary of Maintenance Staff Position:

The maintenance staff member is responsible for keeping the restaurant building, both internally and externally, clean, safe, and in orderly condition. This includes performing heavy duty cleaning tasks such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Additional responsibilities may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning debris from sidewalk.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, restrooms, kitchen spaces, and staff areas

- Sweep, mop, scrub or vacuum restaurant floors

- Maintain restaurant security by keeping doors locked during non-business hours

- Conduct scheduled checks of restrooms, landscaping, windows and entryways

- Ensure parking lot, landscape, and back dock areas are clean and free of debris

- Replace interior and exterior light bulbs using appropriate ladders and safety procedures

- High dust artifacts, air conditioning ducts, ledges and bar cages

- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools

- Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures

- Notify management of major repair needs or issues with building systems

- Maintain a clean and safe environment by reporting any unsafe procedures or conditions to management

- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or director

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

- Understanding of basic cleaning techniques, tools, and products

- Awareness of safe chemical handling and proper storage procedures

- Understanding of workplace safety practices and hazard reporting

- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with team members

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
