Position Summary

We are currently looking for a 2nd shift Punch Press Set-Up Operator A for our New Hope, MN location.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Complex setups with little or no defects. - Ability to manage multiple machines including automatic machines. - Knowledge of bend allowances. - Complex setups with little supervision. - Inspects work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjusts machine to correct errors. - Knowledge of using the proper punch and die clearances according to material type and thickness. - Cleans lubricates, and has the ability to do maintenance on machines. - Ability to manage secondary operations. - Assembles, installs, and aligns dies in press according to specifications. - Positions workpiece against fixtures or stop on machine bed or on die. - Starts press and observes operation to detect misalignment or malfunction. - Ability to operate a single stage Punch Press. - Ability to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent - 2-5 years of varied manufacturing experience preferred - Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team - Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission - Flexible and able to multi-task; can work with an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems
