This role involves greeting customers, taking and preparing food orders, handling cash and electronic payments, maintaining food quality standards, and creating positive guest experiences. Employees are expected to uphold Laguna Development Corporation’s core values, maintain professionalism, work collaboratively with team members, and provide accurate information about services, amenities, promotions, and special events. The position requires operating a point-of-sale (POS) system, balancing cash drawers, maintaining beverage and dining areas, restocking and rotating products, promoting sales, and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, including HACCP guidelines. Team members must work with urgency, build guest loyalty through friendly interactions, and perform additional duties as assigned while maintaining regular attendance, including weekends, holidays, and nontraditional work hours.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess relevant work experience, and preferably have a high school diploma or GED, along with experience in a fast-food environment and cash handling. The role requires basic math skills and the ability to independently follow directions. Employees use equipment such as the MICROS POS system, beverage dispensers, coffee and tea brewers, fryers, and ice cream machines. Physical requirements include prolonged standing, frequent hand use, and the ability to bend, kneel, reach overhead, and lift or move items weighing up to 30 pounds. The position is performed indoors in a restaurant setting and requires strong reading skills. There are no supervisory responsibilities; however, employees must maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, guests, vendors, and other LDC personnel. Additional requirements include passing a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening and obtaining ServSafe Certification within 90 days of hire or transfer.
