Medical Assistant

- Room patients - Administer injections - Scribe for provider during visits - Set up and assist during surgical and cosmetic procedures - Suture removals - Stock and sanitize rooms - Autoclave instruments - Communicate biopsy, prescription, and lab results to patients - Maintain pathology log - Schedule patients for surgical procedures - Administer Photodynamic Therapy

- Certified Medical Assistant is preferred - Confident with Sterile technique - Eager to learn about Dermatology in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word · - Comfort using various computer programs and Electronic Medical Record systems

Job Type:

- Full-time: 4 days a week 7:30am – 5:00pm - One overnight trip per month with the provider to practice in Gunnison, CO office (expenses paid)

Experience:

- 2 years of experience Medical Assisting is preferred - Candidates with Dermatology experience are more competitive in this role

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent is required

Certifications/Licenses:

- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant is preferred

Pay:

- Pay starts at $20.00 per hour, based on experience
