Machine Helper 2nd or 3rd Shift

SUMMARY

Major Areas of Responsibilities

- Manufacture Corrugated Cartons - Assist the assistant operator as needed. Accountable for machine performance as related to waste, efficiency, quality and uptime objectives.

Primary Objectives

- Ensure all company policies are adhered to. (Safety, production, AIB, I.S.O. and quality). - Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Specific Responsibilities of the Job

- Assist machine operators with loading materials and monitoring production. - Adhere to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules, hearing and eye protection policies. - Performs various other job duties and projects as assigned. - It is the responsibility of all employees to follow the requirements of their documentation process as defined in the ISO Quality Manual.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

- Possess effective interpersonal skills and the ability to follow verbal/written instructions. - Must be team oriented.

Education and Experience

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Able to read, write, communicate efficiently, and follow instructions on factory masters.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift, push, pull, squat, and swivel. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to hot and/or humid as well as cold conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, louder than normal environments, and high paced atmosphere.
