Meat Wrapper

Part Time

Primary Responsibilities

- Greet, assist, and ring out all customers politely

- Wrap cuts of meat and by pound meat carefully and within all standard health codes

- Ability to comprehend and provide complex verbal instructions and descriptions concerning store policy and procedures, and usage of equipment

- To supervise/perform organize the cooler/freezer/preparation area for receipt of merchandise, verify the merchandise against the invoice, inspect the delivery for shortages/damage and quality, sort cases for stocking or product preparation and code-date all case items in the cooler/freezer

- Properly lift and hold various cuts of meat through a full shift, extensively ensuring proper wrapping standards

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Meat Wrapper reports directly to the Meat Department Manager.
