What You’ll Do As a Server, you will work closely with residents and the culinary team to provide friendly, efficient, and personalized dining service. You will: • Greet residents and guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude. • Take meal and beverage orders accurately. • Assist residents with menu selections and dining requests. • Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner. • Learn resident preferences and help create a personalized dining experience. • Set up and reset dining-room tables before and after meal service. • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment. • Assist with stocking dining areas and maintaining appropriate supply levels. • Work closely with the culinary team to keep meal service running smoothly. • Communicate resident preferences, concerns, or special requests to the appropriate team member. • Follow established food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures. • Assist with special meals, celebrations, events, and additional dining needs as assigned. • Jump in wherever needed to support the team and create a great resident experience. Education & Experience • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous serving, restaurant, hospitality, senior living, or food-service experience preferred but not required. Physical & Other Requirements • Must be able to speak, read, and write English. • Must be able to safely perform the physical duties associated with dining service. • Must be able to perform repetitive standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift. • Must be flexible and calm when responding to resident, guest, family, or team needs. • Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced dining environment. • Must be able to utilize technology and available resources efficiently and effectively. • Must follow established food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures. • Other duties as assigned.
