Pavement Marking Removal Truck Operator Location: Springfield, MO Job Type: In Person/ Full-Time Candidates must have hands-on experience with: • Water blaster truck operation What You’ll Do • Operate water blasting trucks and pavement marking removal equipment safely and efficiently. • Work directly with the Striping Manager to complete projects according to schedule and specifications. • Remove pavement markings including paint, thermoplastic, epoxy, tape, symbols, arrows, and legends from roadways and parking lots. • Assist with project setup, layout verification, and traffic control operations. • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment. • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment. • Monitor water pressure systems, pumps, hoses, nozzles, and recovery systems during operation. • Load and unload equipment, materials, and traffic control devices. • Maintain equipment logs, daily reports, and project documentation. • Identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns. • Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and OSHA standards. • Assist striping crews and other field operations as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For • Proven experience operating water blasting trucks with minimal supervision. • Strong understanding of pavement marking removal, materials, and industry best practices. • Ability to read plans, follow layouts, and perform accurate measurements. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to communicate effectively and work closely with the Striping Manager and field crews. • Dependable, safety-focused, and self-motivated.
