Schedule:

- Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM - Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM - Thursday & Friday: Off

This position is based at a hospital in Waukesha, Wisconsin and requires availability to work the schedule listed above, including weekends. Applicants must be able to reliably report to work on time and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and professionalism are essential for success in this role.

PURPOSE:

To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for filling and moving carts to assigned areas within the hospital. Provides a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner. Must meet quality and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Be on time - Have excellent attendance - Meet established hospital standards - Follow all company safety rules - Be able to work well with a diverse workforce - Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor - Follow all company policies and procedures - Possess and maintain a positive attitude - Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies - Be able to work past the scheduled shift, as transportation issues may arise - Perform any other duties as manager/supervisor sees fit

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Cross-train in other positions per facility needs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Be able to stand on your feet up to 12 hours a day. - Be able to push/pull soiled and clean linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels). - Sufficient manual dexterity to build linen carts. - Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, reaching, and pulling. - Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics.
