Manage the technical definition of bought-on-part (BOP) components to ensure their technical integration with the product; coordinate technical management with mold suppliers by leveraging process and mold engineers as well as expert resources; 3. Strictly adhere to Grammer’s PDS and GES processes to guide the conceptual and detailed design of products, molds, inspection fixtures, and equipment; collaborate with design engineers on CAD design work; work with experts and the validation/testing teams to develop the DVP (Design Validation Plan) and compile the engineering BOM; 4. Establish and validate prototype control plans to ensure prototype performance meets development requirements; coordinate with Tier 2 core suppliers and participate in the validation of product performance targets; 5. Analyze product test reports and validation data, and promptly develop and implement corrective actions for any deviations; lead and organize cross-functional design review meetings, simultaneously producing follow-up documentation and records to ensure review conclusions are implemented; 6. Lead and prepare product DFMEA reports, identify design risks, and develop preventive and corrective measures; Be responsible for reviewing 3D/2D drawings (including KPCs—Key Performance Characteristics—and cumulative tolerance analysis) and completing their release in the PDM systems (Smart Team, SAP); 7. Assist design engineers in managing design data within the PDM systems (Smart Team, SAP) or offline folders, and maintain a complete history of design changes and ECNs/EWOs (Engineering Change Notices/Engineering Work Orders); 8. Collaborate with IE engineers to ensure that product and process characteristics are effectively controlled when mass production begins; liaise with the customer’s engineering team to obtain customer approval for product designs and review product/service requirements proposed by the customer (e.g., special features, drawings, documentation); 9. Support project managers in conducting VA/VE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) workshops; assist in advancing new project acquisition efforts; comply with Grammer’s internal processes and provide technical support for cross-functional team activities.
