Retail Associate (43726)

SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Team Leader, the Retail Associate stocks processed textile donations in their designated areas and categories on the sales floor. This role provides excellent customer service, maintains sales floor cleanliness, and replenishes merchandise promptly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Organize and place textile merchandise in the correct categories, following established merchandising policies and procedures.

Support textile color rotation in accordance with established procedures.

Welcome each customer in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner and provide timely, efficient, and accurate service.

Help customers locate the appropriate areas of the store and answer general questions.

Remain attentive to potential shoplifting and report suspicious activity to store management.

-

Maintain clean and safe sales floor and production areas.

-

Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and follow dress code requirements, including wearing a name badge.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Promptly direct customer complaints to management.

Answer incoming calls promptly and follow established telephone etiquette.

Comply with Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) procedures and other Public Protection Guidelines.

Remain calm and respond appropriately during emergencies.

Complete other duties assigned by the Team Leader.
