About the role
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, process all incoming donations. Major duties include sorting donations, pricing items, operating machinery, and maintaining the processing area in a clean and orderly fashion.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and make proper determination as to the quality of donations; sort and box identified recyclable items.
- Price goods in special circumstances.
- Operate designated machinery in processing area.
- Keep production area clean and safe and other store areas as directed.
- Comply with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and procedures for Public Protection.
- Maintain well groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
