HVAC Technician

Georgia Military College announces an opening for an HVAC Technician. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units in all campus buildings. Assists with other general maintenance as required.

Primary Duties:

- Corrective and preventative maintenance on all types of HVAC equipment/systems (including refrigeration). Troubleshooting, piece/part and/or complete unit replacement as required to restore systems. Duties include the actual maintenance and the related administrative duties to maintain Freon logs, preventative maintenance databases, and inventory records; using web-based HVAC control systems, electronic building diagrams/prints, and an automated work order system.

- Other general maintenance to include basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, masonry, and painting as necessary.

- Other duties as assigned to include assisting with set-up, break down and cleanup of campus events
