Kitchen Porter

To assist the Kitchen and Front of house staff in cleaning of all kitchen items, equipment, machinery, floors and surfaces. Maintaining high standards and safe practices in all areas. This is generally a Monday to Friday role however some flexibility with working hours will be required on occasions and there is opportunity to gain basic kitchen skills.

Requirements

Essential

- 3 months in a similar role - Good command of the English language - Basic Food Hygiene - Able to work at a quick pace - Likes to get stuck in - Good team Player

Responsibilities

- Manning the Pot Wash area - Cleaning numerous kitchen items used by the kitchen and also front of house - To maintain a very high standard of kitchen/food hygiene at all times - To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene at all times - The cleaning of the kitchen area including machinery, storerooms - Putting away incoming goods in storage areas and maintaining these areas
