Driver/ Maintenance Assistant / Activities – Full Time Spring Arbor Living | Williamsburg, VA Drive With Purpose. Make a Difference Every Day! We are hiring a Full-Time Driver / Driver/ Maintenance Assistant / Activities- You will be crossed trained and help out when not providing transportation. to join our senior living community in Williamsburg, VA! Your primary responsibility will be safely transporting residents to appointments, shopping trips, outings, and community events. When you're not driving, you'll assist with light maintenance tasks and occasionally support our Activities team. If you're dependable, friendly, and enjoy working with seniors, we'd love to meet you! What You'll Do – Resident Transportation • Safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping, errands, and community outings • Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle safely • Help with walkers, bags, and personal belongings as needed • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable community vehicle • Perform routine vehicle safety checks and report concerns • Help coordinate daily transportation schedules • Provide friendly, dependable service to residents Light Maintenance & Activities Support When transportation is not scheduled, you'll help with: • Minor repairs, painting, and general building upkeep • Basic maintenance and groundskeeping projects • Setting up furniture and equipment for events • Assisting with resident activities, outings, and special events • Supporting the Maintenance Director and Activities team as needed What We're Looking For • Must be 21 years of age or older • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required • Previous driving or transportation experience preferred • Experience working with seniors is a plus • Basic handyman or maintenance skills helpful, but not required • Friendly, patient, dependable, and safety-conscious • Comfortable assisting residents with mobility needs • Must meet applicable background screening and company Drug-Free Workplace requirements • CDL required only if applicable to the vehicle being operated Why Join Our Team?
