Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Literature in English Teacher to inspire students through engaging, thought-provoking learning experiences. Recent graduates with teaching practice, internship, or NYSC experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Design and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned Literature in English lessons that promote critical reading and analytical writing. Assess student performance through diverse methods and provide timely, constructive feedback to support growth. Facilitate classroom discussions, creative writing exercises, and literary analysis activities to deepen understanding. Develop comprehensive lesson plans, reading lists, and instructional materials tailored to diverse learning needs. Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment that values diverse perspectives and voices. Participate actively in school meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular literary programs. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, English Education, or a closely related field. 0–2 years of teaching experience, including internship, teaching practice, or NYSC.
