Position Summary: The cook is responsible for the preparation and handling of food. Additional duties include serving meals to clients, stocking inventory, recording meals served, monitoring food temperatures, cleaning the kitchen, and washing dishes, cutlery, and equipment. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare meals and beverages using specific procedures and maintain plate presentation Serve meals using standards to maintain sanitation and quality Store stock appropriately in order to maintain cleanliness and prevent food spoilage Accurately record meals served and monitor temperatures of food Clean assigned dining areas using appropriate procedures Wash dishes and/or utensils according to acceptable standards of practice (including equipment) Ensure compliance with sanitation Participate in menu planning Attend department meetings and all staff meetings as requested Stock kids cart with spoons, paper plates, etc. Clean and sanitize all kids carts Perform daily cleaning task/ deep cleaning when needed
