About the role
Role Overview The Senior Communications Executive will manage the organisation’s donor and impact communications, ensuring high-quality storytelling, brand consistency, and strategic messaging across platforms. This role works closely with senior leadership and fundraising teams to strengthen donor engagement, amplify impact narratives, and enhance the organisation’s public and digital presence. Key Responsibilities Strategic Donor & Impact Communications Responsible for the development of donor proposals, reports, MOUs, presentations, fundraising kits, and due diligence documentation. Translate program data and outcomes into clear, compelling, donor-ready impact narratives. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency in all donor-facing communications. Content Strategy & Storytelling Own organisational storytelling across digital and print platforms. Curate success stories, case studies, and impact highlights from program teams. Oversee newsletters, campaign messaging, and key organisational announcements. Digital & Social Media Leadership Post content on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook). Strengthen leadership communication (Founder & CEO LinkedIn presence) . Track engagement metrics and optimise content for reach and impact. Design & Brand Management Create visual communication assets, including presentations, infographics, posters, and digital creatives. Act as a brand custodian, ensuring visual and tonal consistency across all materials. Executive & Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership on communication strategy, donor pitches, and external representation. Collaborate with fundraising, programs, and partnerships teams to align communication with organisational priorities. Support communication for events, campaigns, and strategic initiatives. Qualifications & Experience Postgraduate degree in Communications, Media, Finance, Social Sciences, or a related field. 3–5 years of progressive experience in communications, preferably within NGOs, social enterprises, or impact-driven organisations. Proven experience handling donor communications and senior-stakeholder engagement.
