SUMMARY The Groundskeeping Supervisor ("Supervisor/a de Jardineria") will assist in the completion of the day-to-day activities, involving the maintenance/repair of the building facility, equipment, machinery including HVAC, building lighting systems, groundskeeping, plumbing, and electrical wiring, and fixtures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- Mows grass, plows snow, waters lawns, feeds and trims shrubs, tends flower beds, and regularly inspects assigned work areas to ensure proper standards are maintained.

- Operates lawn and grounds equipment including power mowers, snowblowers, bucket loaders, and other power equipment.

- Repairs and maintains property walks and lots.

- Plans, plants and maintains exterior and interior landscaping in accordance with the landscaping plan.

- Removes refuse and trash from grounds.

- Enforces safety regulations at the worksite.

- Maintains a small greenhouse.

- Prepares and maintains fields.

- Adjusts, cleans, and performs minor mechanical work on grounds equipment.

- Recommends for purchase and suggests suitable locations for trees and shrubs.

- Requisitions, controls, and issues groundskeeping supplies.

- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
