Sr. Software Engineer - RTOS & Networking

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer - RTOS & Networking based in the United States. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help design and advance software for high-assurance, mission-critical embedded systems. You will focus on RTOS and networking capabilities within a modular software platform supporting demanding edge-computing environments. The role offers the opportunity to architect and implement networking protocols while ensuring deterministic, hard real-time performance and reliability. You will work across hypervisor, operating-system, networking, and application layers to analyze performance and solve complex low-level challenges. Your work will contribute to secure, scalable, and certifiable systems used across aerospace, defense, automotive, medical, and industrial applications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams while contributing to certification activities and production-quality software. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced embedded engineer who enjoys solving technically challenging problems at the intersection of networking, RTOS, and mission-critical computing.
