Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE Join a small, fast-moving engineering team at a seed-stage AI voice platform to own projects end-to-end and directly shape the product alongside customers. You'll influence core architecture decisions and ship features that power thousands of AI-driven conversations every day — meaningful work with real, immediate impact. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Work closely with customers to understand their problems and design product experiences that solve their challenges. - Build scalable backend infrastructure capable of handling thousands of AI phone calls per day. - Build intuitive user experiences that make sense in an AI-first world. - Own high-stakes projects end-to-end, from concept through production and post-release support. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 2+ years of professional software engineering experience. - Strong PostgreSQL experience, including complex queries, performance tuning, and optimization. - Experience designing scalable backend architectures and making core product and architectural decisions. - Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Node, and Python. - Experience with scalable async processing or real-time processing systems. - Experience building products for AI-first or communications-enabled platforms. - Ability to own projects end-to-end from concept to production and post-release support. - Strong collaboration skills — comfortable translating customer problems into product experiences alongside cross-functional teams. - A track record of developing a product from 0 to 1. - Familiarity with Temporal.io, Twilio, or Modal is a plus. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: €75,000 – €160,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site in Berlin, Germany. Candidates must be willing to work in-person full-time.
