About the role

POSITION SUMMARY Under direct supervision, performs on-site installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and startup of EBARA Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) equipment. Supports complex electromechanical systems incorporating robotics, pneumatics, electrical controls, motion control, sensors, and software. Utilizes technical documentation, diagnostic tools, and service procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues while ensuring maximum system performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates have experience servicing complex automated or electromechanical systems in electrical, robotics, industrial automation, manufacturing, aerospace, military, HVAC, or semiconductor environments, with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Services equipment and/or products at customer sites or service center to include all contracted preventative maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, consumable changes, installations, and start-ups. (Essential) Ability to interpret operation manuals to determine the root cause of tool failures. (Essential) Provides documentation of preventative maintenance, downtime, issues, and time spent preparing reports for product movement and justification for on-site service. Must show proficiency in using the customer’s system. (Essential) Perform preventive maintenance with little supervision. (Essential) Order, expedite, and notify customers or management when product replacement is necessary. (Essential) Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using service maintenance checklists and protocols. (Essential) Comply with Finesse training for proper maintenance of parts usage and transactions. (Essential) Complies with Ebara’s safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. (Essential) Maintains a clean and safe working environment compliant with Ebara and customer safety policies. (Essential)
