Physical Therapy Director

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Therapy Clinic Director to lead the daily operations, clinical quality, and growth of our outpatient rehabilitation clinic. This role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist who is passionate about patient care, team development, operational excellence, and building strong physician and community relationships. As Clinic Director, you will serve as both a clinical leader and operational partner, helping drive exceptional patient outcomes, staff engagement, and clinic performance while maintaining a patient first culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership & Patient Care Lead and model evidence based, patient centered physical therapy care Evaluate and treat patients while developing individualized treatment plans and functional goals Ensure clinical quality, documentation standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements are consistently met Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes Foster a safe, inclusive, and service oriented environment for patients and staff Team Leadership & Development Recruit, onboard, schedule, and supervise therapists, PTAs, aides, and front office staff Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to support growth and accountability Build a collaborative, high performing clinic culture focused on teamwork and patient experience Support continuing education and professional development initiatives Operations & Financial Performance Oversee day to day clinic operations, scheduling, workflow, equipment, and EMR utilization Monitor clinic performance metrics including productivity, cancellations, patient visits, units per visit, and revenue performance Partner with leadership on staffing plans, budgeting, and operational improvement initiatives Ensure payroll accuracy, staffing efficiency, and responsible resource management Growth & Physician Relations Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring providers and community partners Support local outreach, marketing initiatives, and educational events to drive clinic growth and brand awareness Identify opportunities to improve patient access, experience, and operational efficiency
