Instructor, Community Recreation (West): Module 4 - Aquatics

SUMMARY Module 4: Aquatics Delivers swimming instruction to individuals and groups of all ages in a community center setting, emphasizing water safety, fundamental swim skills, and stroke development. Designs engaging lessons that build confidence and encourage lifelong aquatic proficiency. Maintains a safe learning environment by adhering to facility protocols and emergency procedures. Must hold current certifications in the following: Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification through the American Red Cross or equivalent ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides instruction to students and community members. Develops and presents the department with a curriculum that provides students with a full experience and is structured to accommodate all fitness levels. Sets up in preparation for and cleans up after each class. Performs other duties as assigned.
