Network Engineer – Mobility (Space Communications) (m/f/d)

Role Purpose: Responsible for designing and optimizing mobile network elements that enable secure, resilient, and high-performance data exchange between ground and space. Key Responsibilities Design mobile network architectures (user access) for various environments (e.g., mobile terminals, ground vehicles, maritime, airborne platforms) Define routing strategies, access control, and service delivery models tailored to user needs and operational constraints Ensure seamless integration with core, backhaul, and satellite networks, supporting roaming, mobility, and dynamic link management Plan and execute integration of mobile networks, including management and control functions Optimize user segment network performance, focusing on latency, throughput, reliability, and user experience Coordinate subcontractors for user terminal development, edge network integration, and field deployment Contribute to innovative R D initiatives (AI-driven routing, quantum communication, SDN)
