About the role

POSITION SUMMARY The Driver Support Coordinator provides tactical support such as tracking, check calls, and additional communication support to the Driver Manager to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient fleet operations. This role focuses on maintaining driver boards, updating dispatch data, managing communication between drivers and support departments, and assisting with reports and compliance tracking. The position plays a key role in ensuring that all systems and documentation remain accurate and current, enabling DM/FM’s to focus on driver performance, problem-solving, and service delivery. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Monitor and track fleet movement to ensure on-time performance; proactively communicate late plan deviations to Driver Managers. Conduct VTC reviews and perform routine VTC audits to ensure compliance and accuracy. Execute loaded and empty (MT) dispatch functions, including assignment and movement coordination. Provide drivers with turn-by-turn directions and routing assistance as needed. Maintain and update the Situation Board to ensure accurate, real-time operational visibility. Process and reconcile EFS checks in accordance with company procedures. Manage compliance-related tasks including vehicle registrations, IFTA renewals, random selections, and Luma eNuggets training tracking. Coordinate and route preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to minimize operational disruption. Code trucks appropriately for service events and maintenance routing. Code and route trucks for through-shop inspections and service needs. Monitor and enforce fuel compliance standards and reporting. Track and manage NN Days to support operational performance metrics. Maintain and update LTL scorecard performance metrics. Conduct and document check calls to ensure shipment visibility and service compliance.
