About the role
Come join a company who is a key leader in the industry scaling the next core commerce infrastructure and on the path from $100M to $500M! Founded in 2012, Salsify helps brand manufacturers, distributors, and retailers in over 80 countries collaborate to win on the digital shelf. As the market leader globally, our products are shopper-centric, frictionless, and create memorable commerce experiences. Our products provide a competitive edge through experiences that improve brand trust, amplify product differentiation and assortments, increase conversion rate, improve profit margins, and speed time to market.
Learn how the world’s largest brands, including Mars, L'Oreal, Coca-Cola, Bosch, and GSK, as well as retailers and distributors such as E.Leclerc, Carrefour, Metro, and Intermarché use Salsify everyday to stand out on the digital shelf.
At Salsify, we strive to embody an equitable, diverse, and inclusive company culture. We are united across countries, levels, tenures, and a host of other dimensions of diversity. We understand that while work is just one aspect of who we are, a truly inclusive culture accounts for the full authenticity of every single human being that works here.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for an energetic, organised, and proactive professional to join our Sydney team in a dual-impact role. You will be the engine room for our growth, supporting the Sales and Customer Success teams by building the pipeline, maintaining CRM integrity, and coordinating events that put Salsify in front of the world’s leading brands.
This is a critical "bridge" role where you will help develop and maintain systems to drive leads and opportunities through the sales funnel. The ideal candidate is an operational “doer,” hands-on with data and systems, and eager to implement automations that improve business processes.
You will report to the Business Development Lead and this role aims at providing assistance to our Account Executives (AEs) and Customer Success Managers (CSMs). This is a growth role with ramp-up support for candidates looking at learning every day and potentially evolving in more specialised areas of the business (sales, marketing, customer service).
How You'll Make an Impact
1- Building and Driving Pipeline
- Sales Tools & Research: Help maintain the systems we use to research target accounts and track prospect data. You'll get hands-on with tools like Salesforce (our CRM), Marketo, and Outreach, and help keep our prospect scoring dashboards up to date.
- Email Campaign Execution: Manage the day-to-day execution of email campaigns across both our marketing engagement platform (Marketo) and our sales/BDR engagement platform (Outreach) - making sure sequences go out on schedule, content is accurate, and performance is tracked.
- Outreach Support: Support outreach campaigns using sales and prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Expandi) - you'll learn how to plan and help execute email/LinkedIn sequences to target accounts.
- Partner Insights: Help track and organize insights on our ANZ (Australia/New Zealand) partner network - the resellers and software partners we work with - so the sales team has better context on shared accounts.
- Lead Follow-Up: Be the first point of contact for new leads coming in from our website and marketing events, helping qualify them before handing off to sales.
- Data Accuracy: Keep our systems (Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach) accurate and up to date by logging activity and account notes - this is a big part of how the team makes decisions, so attention to detail matters here.
2- Field Marketing
- Event Support: Help coordinate logistics for industry conferences and sales events the Australia team attends.
- Post-Event Follow-Up: Support follow-up on marketing campaigns and webinars to help turn event attendees into qualified leads.
- Social Media: Help plan and post social media content on LinkedIn, working from our global (HQ) content calendar.
3- Customer Success Collaboration
- Customer Insights: Partner with our Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to understand what challenges our customers face, and help share information with them about how Salsify's product can help.
- QBR Support: Sit in on Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) - regular check-ins with key accounts - to help spot opportunities for growth or extra support.
You'll Excel in This Role If You Have:
- Experience: 1–3 years in a professional B2B environment (Software/SaaS experience is a major plus).
- Collaboration: Motivated in learning alongside more experienced team members, comfortable in logging and tracking tasks in project management tools like Asana or Confluence/Jira and Slack.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the "Executive Presence" to speak with senior stakeholders.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Salesforce , LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Workspace and Gemini. Any workflow centric automation software experience is a major bonus.
- Organisation: A disciplined approach to managing a hybrid work schedule (including two days working from home), with the ability to balance prospecting tasks with event deadlines.
- Mindset: You are a self-starter who is "coachable," resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Salsify loves a good success story and it would be our privilege to help write yours! We recognize that talent and potential come in all forms and that years of experience does not guarantee on-the-job effectiveness or leadership potential. Our hiring process involves recognizing a person’s achievements, subject matter expertise, and passion, not just check marks next to a job description. If you have an interest in our roles please do not hesitate to apply - we would be happy to speak with you!
