PT Ice Box Concession Attendant

Promote the Hoffman Estates Park District and Triphahn Center Ice Rink by delivering high-quality service that meets and exceeds guest expectations at the Ice Box Concession Stand. Supervision Received All work is performed under the supervision of the Bar & Grill Service Manager at Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club. Essential Duties and Requirements: General Administration Open and close the Ice Box concession stand in accordance with established procedures. Maintain accountability for all cash banks and revenue collected during shifts. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for all food and beverage transactions. Prepare and serve menu items in a timely and efficient manner. Stock and replenish inventory as needed. Prepare and submit inventory/order requests to the Bar & Grill Service Manager. Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in all work areas. Complete assigned side work duties. Adhere to dress code and grooming standards at all times. Wear required uniform and name tag during all scheduled shifts. Perform other related duties as assigned. Professional Expectations and Customer Service: Greet all guests in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner. Provide courteous and attentive service at all times. Promote and describe daily specials or featured items. Communicate accurate and helpful information regarding park district services and programs. Safety, Health, and Loss Control Support and follow all safety, health, and loss control policies established by the Park District. Maintain familiarity with and adhere to the Employee Safety Manual. Marginal Responsibilities Communicate with residents, staff, and vendors via telephone as needed. Psychological Considerations Ability to manage stressful situations involving the public and coworkers. Ability to respond promptly and effectively to guest needs. Physiological Considerations Ability to work extended hours as needed. Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for prolonged periods. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work in challenging weather conditions. Environmental Considerations Work may be performed indoors and outdoors, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. Cognitive Considerations Ability to follow instructions and carry out assigned responsibilities effectively.
