Agronomist & Farm Manager (re-advertisement)

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and manage all farm operations including planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting - Develop and implement crop rotation and planting schedules - Analyze soil data and crop performance to provide agronomic advice - Monitor crop health and recommend treatments for diseases and pests - Lead a team of farm workers and ensure health & safety standards are met - Manage farm budgets, procurement, and equipment maintenance - Maintain detailed records of operations, yields, and input usage

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field - Proven experience in farm management and agronomy (minimum 5 years) - Strong knowledge of crop production systems, soil science, and precision agriculture - Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment - Proficiency with farm management software and modern agri-tech tools - Valid driver’s license (tractor included) - Benefits: - Competitive salary commensurate with experience (Kshs. 50,000 per month) - Company vehicle and mobile phone - Housing or housing allowance (if applicable) - Performance-based incentives - Ongoing training and career development opportunities
