Bartender - Variable Schedule

The Bartender is responsible for taking Guest drink orders and preparing drinks according to Thunder Valley specifications. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Essential Functions: Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times. Take drink orders and offer specials by describing the method of preparation and price for each. Make other drink recommendations, up-selling when possible. Prepare drinks to proper Thunder Valley standards and specifications. Record transactions into the point-of-sale (POS) system following established Thunder Valley procedures. Ensure that all Guests are of legal drinking age and that they are not over-served following Company and Department procedures. Ensure that beverage stations are properly stocked and that products are fresh and rotated. Cut and stock fresh condiments when needed. Ensure appropriate levels of glassware are available. Follow established side work duties. Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly including glass washers, ice machines, blenders, point-of-sale (POS) system, liquor dispensing system, and coolers. Report any malfunctioning equipment to Beverage management. Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and adhered to at all times.
