Volleyball Referee

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Shift Duties: -The nets will be set up for you, however you may need to change the height -Place a chair, table, & score chart on the home side of each court -Home teams provide the scorekeeper each match – this MUST be one adult – no more than 1 child can sit with them. -Place ball tubs at each court -Prepare your score sheets for your matches -Fill in each score sheet with date, game time, and teams playing. -Ensure EmBe brand, mission, vision, and values are reflected in all interactions. -After the games, place the ball tubs back to the back of the gym -Pick up any trash or lost and found items. Place in Lost and found at front desk. Qualifications Previous experience or knowledge volleyball is beneficial, but not required. Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Physical Demands Ability to see, speak, and hear Frequent standing and use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or reach Frequent standing and walking Occasional lifting of up to 15 lbs. Occasional need to climb, balance, kneel or crouch Vision abilities include distance and close vision Work Environment Work is primarily performed in an indoor office environment.
