GENERAL SURGEON - BUTLER

At Independence Health System, the Physician, General Surgery examines patients and orders appropriate testing to make diagnosis and determine need for surgery in hospitalized and outpatient settings. The position manages patients through the continuum of hospital care by collaborating with other medical professionals including Clinical Assistants, Medical Assistants, Clerical, and Administrative staff. The position will perform surgical procedures to prevent or correct injury, disease, deformities and patient function while adhering to regulator, ethical and surgical standards.
