As a Teacher Assistant , you’ll support the lead teacher in implementing curriculum, supervising children, and fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. This full-time position assists with assessments, parent engagement, and school readiness activities to help children thrive. Key Responsibilities: Assist in daily classroom activities and child supervision Support curriculum implementation aligned with NAEYC and Head Start standards Ensure a safe and positive learning environment Conduct developmental screenings and maintain child progress records Engage with parents to support family and community involvement Participate in professional development and team collaboration Qualifications: Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) or equivalent certification in a related field Experience in a preschool setting or working with young children Strong communication and teamwork skills Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication A collaborative mindset with a commitment to the mission of supporting children, families and communities
