The successful candidates will be able to provide exceptional customer service to our customers, serve in a leadership role and ensure professionalism. A Driver-Mover is primarily responsible for driving company moving trucks as assigned, for supervising crew, loading, packing, and inventorying shipments. Must be able to be qualified to drive company vehicles. This includes meeting the requirements of a criminal background check, driving record, physical, and any/all other information as required by state and federal DOT regulations. Must be 21+ years old for company driving insurance Ability to pass a background check Satisfactory driving record 1-2+years Professional Moving Experience preferred Conduct inspections of the vehicle before departing to deliver goods Pack and load products onto trucks according to company's specifications Maintain ongoing communication with Operations and Dispatch Excellent Customer Service Skills, must professionally interact with customers to complete detailed paperwork correctly Adequately and efficiently pack household or office items from books to dishes to antiques Load and unload trucks Protect furniture and equipment with moving pads Complete inventories and job paperwork Warehouse labor, forklift operation, inventory experience a plus!
