Your mission About Abbey Capital (US) LLC Abbey Capital Ltd is an Irish alternative investment manager which specialises in managing multi-manager portfolios in managed futures. Abbey Capital (US) LLC is seeking a Vice President, Business Development to join its US distribution team that primarily focuses on sales and client service activities within the broker-dealer & RIA channels. The successful candidate will report to the MD Head of Abbey Capital US LLC Your profile Role Abbey Capital is seeking a driven, eloquent, organised, energetic, and highly motivated salesperson to join our Business Development team and contribute to the future growth of our business in North America. This is a remote role based in Texas. The ideal candidate should have at least five years’ experience in external wholesaling experience to advisors in the large wealth distribution platforms. Experience in the RIA & Independent Channel is a plus. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include: Proactively prospect and market the Abbey Capital suite of product solutions – including private placement and mutual fund offerings Manage existing and new client relationships within a defined territory Educated distribution partners, investors and prospects about the benefits of managed futures and about Abbey Capital and our funds - deliver effective presentations promoting our products, services and competitive advantages Successfully communicate complex themes to the most sophisticated FA and client audiences in a professional, cohesive and thoughtful manner Stay current and fluent on market insights and events and effectively communicate the impact on the positioning of our funds Working with a team to share insights and ideas that will enhance our service and/or win new business Manage territory effectively to exceed personal objectives, retain assets and grow assets through new business Attend industry and networking events You should have: Minimum of anUndergraduate degree Minimum 5 years’wholesalingexperiencein alternatives, managed futures is a benefit Results focused with excellent attention todetail Team-player with strong interpersonal skills Strong time management and organizational skills Strong presentation skills both in person and in the virtual environment Desirable: Series 7 and 63 license Prior experience with alternative investments preferred; experience with managed futures highly preferred Prior experience usingSalesforceand/or CRM software
