POSITION DESCRIPTION Position Title: Line Cook Department: Food & Beverage Salary Range: $17.00 Reports to : Food & Beverage Director Employment Status : Seasonal FLSA Status : Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY Line Cooks are responsible for providing quality culinary experiences for guests. The position will require the ability to perform a variety of tasks within the kitchen and will require a basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques. The position will work in close collaboration with colleagues and follow established health and safety standards and enhance the service and goals set by Antelope Point Marina. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES Ability to work quickly in a fast paced environment and ensure kitchen standards are met. Accountability for food products and the culinary experiences of guests. Ability to work with a variety of foods and products in day to day responsibilities. Understand and practice proper guidelines for food safety and sanitation. Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet kitchen needs. Assists with the proper rotation, sanitation, and organization of inventory. Must communicate professionally and diplomatically with collegues and guests. Possess the ability to react productively to other duties as reasonably assigned.
